Although not marketed as a security product, this is not the first time Frotcom has helped a company recover a stolen vehicle. In the early hours of March 3, the owner of Romà Bus - a client of Frotcom Spain - received a “daily activity start alarm”, sent by sms to his cell phone. He knew immediately that someone was stealing one of his buses. He quickly reported the occurrence to the police authorities in Catalonia. The thieves crossed the border into France, driving the stolen vehicle, but they were caught near Cannes, on March 4, by the French police. The vehicle was returned to Romà Bus.
