Frotcom International in the European Venture Summit 2009 - Düsseldorf

Frotcom International was one of the 100 companies selected to participate in the European Venture Summit 2009. This is a true privilege, of course. Before arriving here, though, we had to convince a jury of investors and experts in Cascais, Portugal. On November 12, Frotcom International was one of the 10 winning companies at the 2009 Eurecan European Venture Contest Semi-Final. The international jury based their criteria in areas such as the business potential, team experience, product/technology merit, competitive position, investment or partnering interest, company profile quality and company presentation quality. In this Düsseldorf summit, more than 200 top managers and VC representatives are present. The main idea is not to get venture capital at this stage – although we will not refuse that possibility if it helps us and our Frotcom Certified Partners grow quicker and stronger – but mainly to validate our business model. Getting feedback from this experienced group is invaluable and sure can save us all some trouble in the future. Being selected as one of Europe’s most promising companies is certainly a good start.
